SpeakEATsy | Saturday July 1st | 19:00 to Midnight Food Hub I WeCreate I Cloughjordan Ecovillage IRELAND    SpeakEATsy is a celebratory evening of arts and local food – conversations hosted by Davie Philip and poet Mel White – music from Matthew Noone, composer and performer of the 25 stringed lute, the sarode – a delicious 3 course vegan meal with community farm produce cooked up by Alex from West Coast Toast – performance and a compelling after dinner conversation with cultural creatives from the WEAll Deep Dive – and DJs Ollie Moore, Ruari McBride and Aaron Bailey to finish.   BYOB    €40 Places from 19.00 to midnight – almost sold out only 15 places left! Irish Food Writers Guild

The Irish Food Writers Guild visited Cloughjordan today. Lunch in the Middle Country Co-op Cafe with a menu featuring over 11 local producers and beers from White Gypsy, a tour of the ecovillage, a visit to the Cloughjordan Community Farm, foraging with Wild Irish Foragers & Preservers, a trip to RiotRye bakehouse and bread school, a walk through the community apery, allotments and orchards, as well as an introduction to the research in the RED Gardens.
