Member – You may be a current or lapsed Member of Cloughjordan Community Farm.
Supporter – You have supported/donated to Cloughjordan Community Farm as a one off payment or as a regular giver.

Volunteer – You have acted as a volunteer (or expressed an interest in volunteering / internship) helping out at events, in our farm, participating with programme work etc.

Information Collected

The information you provide to us i.e. name, address, email address and any phone numbers are only used for legitimate purposes. This information is used for the purposes that it is given for contacting the member/supporter.

Any other correspondence from our supporters is held on file and once two years passes since their membership/supportership lapsed this is shredded and removed from our storage files.

In order to process volunteer applications we may also collect references, Garda vetting (if working with children), qualifications, previous work/volunteer experience, details of emergency contacts, and any essential health information. This information will be retained for legal or contractual reasons, to protect us (including in the event of an insurance or legal claim).

As a member / supporter it is essential we are able to contact you for business purposes, processing payments, renewals etc. This can be via phone or email, however from time to time we may contact you in relation to other legitimate purposes that serve our aims and mission. Members/Supporters – As a current / lapsed member/supporter of Cloughjordan Community Farm it is essential we provide you with the best service possible. To do this we will have to contact you from time to time, either by phone / email. This will be for legitimate business purposes e.g. regarding your renewals, sign-ups, receiving our newsletters and Harvest reports, any special member packages / offers, keeping you informed of our events, fundraising campaigns etc.

Newsletters- As part of the member package you may receive two newsletters every year from Cloughjordan Community Farm. These contain articles about what’s happening on our farm, news about our programs, our events, workshops, supporterships, promotions, offers, as well as appeals for fundraising and volunteering initiatives. If you have given us your email address for the purposes of sending you an email Newsletter, we will send them to you until you tell us you have changed your mind (opted-out).You can also contact us at any point by emailing us at info@cloughjordancommunity and we can unsubscribe you as per your request.

Direct Marketing and Fundraising Appeals – We will occasionally send you information on fundraising events for the farm. You can opt-out of email contact at any time either by following the instructions in the communication, or by emailing us at


Cloughjordan Community Farm only stores personal data for as long as is necessary for legitimate business purposes and to comply with revenue / financial regulations.
