We have an amazing Eats and Beats upcoming. Not only is it a bountiful time of year, we’ve new people to work with our food and to get you dancing! Food is by Eilo and Flo from the Gourmet Offensive, and music now sees the prolific and fabulous Kelsey bring her sounds from the west coast to north Tipp.
The Gourmet Offensive was founded in Galway in 2005 by Flo as a celebration of fresh, vibrant, local and nourishing food. Eilo joined the journey in 2015, and together they went on to run a much-loved vegetarian restaurant for eight years.
Today, Flo works as head gardener for a Michelin-starred restaurant in County Galway, and Eilo is a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and doula. Though their paths have evolved, they continue to join forces for the events that inspire them — bringing their passion for conscious, flavourful food to community tables and gatherings across the country.
Kelsey is a Galway-based DJ, promoter and party starter who has been lighting up dancefloors in Vietnam, Tenerife, Dublin and Galway over the past few years. In 2022, she launched the @teighsios collective, putting on multi-disciplinary parties giving a platform for DJs to explore themselves & focusing on inclusivity around Galway. She’s also a regular at the Blue Note in Galway’s west end and the Irish festival circuit performing at Beyond The Pale, All Together Now, Electric Picnic, Community Scratch Games & a spicy B2B W/ Ciara May at Boomtown Fair (UK).
–Kelsey’s love of the dancefloor fuses an array of genres into her sets, including house, global sounds, techy rollers, baile funk, dembow riddims, and more. She always provides bass-driven beauty and collaborates with live performers. Her most recent project RaggaPuffin is where she curates genre-bending DJ sets performed live with drummer Iarla Fox former member of Irish reggae band Intinn and Lady Grew – American performance artist and rapper. Her most recent Electric Picnic this year saw the prolific DJ do 8 sets!
